Slate has this story about the correct number of spaces to put at the end of a sentence. And it's not two. I'm trying this out right now, and it doesn't feel right. Must wrap mind around paradigm shift. I assume this goes for colons as well.
Searching for something pithy and humorous to say about this, but nothing is coming to mind. I'm too busy hitting backspace after every double space in this post to utilize any extra brainpower. I'll get used to it, someday, until they change it again.
